My name is Jatinder (Sunday Name) aka Jit Nijjar.
What is your role at GRENKE?
National Sales Manager. Supporting and leading the sales team, meeting new people across a range of industry and driving the business forward.
What was your first job in sales?
Sales Assistant at Carphone Warehouse. Where all the best started.
Which one business achievement over the last 12 months are you most proud of and why?
Securing my promotion as National Sales Manager. I was alongside some very experienced and knowledgeable colleagues. I look forward to working with such an incredible team and supporting my M.D. in growing the GRENKE business.
What would you advise someone first starting out at GRENKE?
Work hard and successful will follow.
What kind of working environment do you work best in?
Busy and fast paced. I love the new challenges every day brings.
How would your colleagues describe you?
Fair, approachable. Someone they can bounce ideas off.
Tell us about a mistake you made and how you learnt from it?
Putting my Credit Card details on my sons PlayStation account, £750 worth of Fifa Points later - I’d learnt my mistake.
If you were Prime minister for one day, what one thing would you change?
Flat rate tax no matter what you earn.
