What is your connection with the London Chamber of Commerce?

GRENKE are the Principal Partners for the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Business Owners Club. Since May, the GRENKE London Branch have had the opportunity to sponsor a number of fantastic networking events across London and meet many of the inspirational members. 


What motivates you in your role as Regional Sales Manager?

GRENKE is very much a people driven business both internally and externally, with our fantastic partner base. I have always had the most motivation and enjoyment from bringing on board new businesses, understanding what they do and building relationships with the various people within those organisations.


Which one business achievement over the last 12 months are you most proud of, and why?

Having joined GRENKE from a Technology Sales background in December 2021, I have been pleased with how quickly I have learnt and understood the world of Asset Financing.


What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Focus on progress, not perfection.


How would your colleagues describe you?

A good relationship builder, supportive team player, direct and to the point!


Tell us about a mistake you made and how you learned from it.

In sales, you are often put in a position where you don’t have all the answers. In my early career as a recruiter, I often made the mistake of trying to be an expert in something I knew little about. Now, I spend time educating myself and in the cases where I don’t have the answers, I am transparent and honest enough to offer the correct information at a later date.


If you were Prime Minister for one day, what one thing would you change?

Safe standing to be rolled out across all football league stadiums (where safe to do so).


If you were Mayor of London for the day which one thing would you change?

Air conditioning across the entire Tube network!


Anything else people should know about you?

I gave up alcohol at the start of the year and feel much better for it!
