Could you walk us through a typical day in your new role at grenke?

So far, it’s been a learning curve! I’ve been doing lots of networking events recently, but typically, I would be sourcing new business, and going out on visits to speak to our existing accounts, making sure they are all okay and checking if I can do anything else to help them.

How do you see your role working for grenke in Scotland evolve?

grenke is not a well known name in Scotland, so it’s my mission to fly the flag and be the “go to” for anyone using equipment leasing, and to help SME businesses flourish by using this as an option they may not have considered before.

If you could magically acquire one new skill related to your career overnight, what would it be?

To magically have 23 years experience in finance leasing instead of travel!

Describe your perfect day off.

Being somewhere hot. Don’t care where, as long as there’s a pool and hot weather - holidays are “my thing”. I wish teleporting were a thing so I can actually do this on my day off!

What motivates you at work?

Just being able to speak to people and build relationships - I do love a good chat!

If you could go anywhere in the world for a day, where would you go and why?

Orlando, Florida! It’s my fave place ever, although I do love a lot of destinations, but that’s definitely a close 1st place!

What's your ultimate guilty pleasure when it comes to films, TV shows or series?

Oh anything “crimey” although I'm watching Ted Lasso at the moment, and I'm loving it!

If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you take with you and why?

OK, so assuming it’s “things and not people” (if it were people, I'd like to take my kids - but also I'd not like to take my kids haha!) ... oooh, I’d take a ton of good books, my wifi router, (because it would totally work on a desert island), and my phone so I could online shop everything, as I’m pretty sure Amazon would totally deliver there!
